L'Olivar is located in a magnificent area where the Alt Empordà and Baix Empordà counties converge. It is only 5 minutes by car from the Greek and Roman ruins of Empúries, just next to the beaches and villages of Sant Martí d’Empúries and Sant Pere Pescador—one of the best locations on the Iberian Peninsula for kitesurfing and windsurfing—, 15 minutes from Figueres and its Dalí Museum, 25 minutes from Girona’s Old City, 30 minutes from the El Bulli Foundation and 40 minutes from the village of Cadaqués.
